Private transfers from Brussels Airport

A Brussels Airport transfer with SilverDrive means a chauffeur waiting for you in the arrivals hall, a Mercedes or BMW from our own fleet and a fixed price agreed at booking, whether you are going to a hotel in the city, a meeting in the European quarter or all the way to Amsterdam. Flight tracking and 60 minutes of free waiting are always included.

Brussels Airport (BRU) in Zaventem is the main international gateway for Belgium and the European institutions. It handles a constant flow of diplomats, lobbyists and business travellers, and it is increasingly used by travellers heading to the south of the Netherlands, Antwerp and Ghent. Read our Brussels Airport guide for practical information about the terminal.

How your transfer works

  1. Book with your flight number. Your chauffeur follows the flight and adjusts to any delay.
  2. Meet and greet in arrivals. Brussels Airport has one terminal building with two piers. After baggage reclaim and customs, your chauffeur waits in the arrivals hall with a name board.
  3. Luggage handled. From the arrivals hall to the car and from the car to your door.
  4. Direct to your destination. No taxi queue, no train changes, and a price that does not change with traffic.

Brussels Airport to the Netherlands

Many of our clients fly into Brussels and continue to the Netherlands, for example when direct flights to Schiphol are full, when Brussels has the better connection, or when their final destination is in Zeeland, Brabant or Limburg. A cross-border transfer avoids a train journey with changes in Antwerp or Brussels, and the same chauffeur takes you all the way. See also Amsterdam to Brussels and Schiphol to Brussels.

Departures to Brussels Airport

For departures, your pickup is timed back from your check-in window, with margin for traffic on the Antwerp and Brussels ring roads. From Amsterdam, we usually plan around three hours for the drive plus check-in time. SilverDrive operates 24/7 with no night surcharge, so a 5am departure costs the same as one at noon.

Why pre-book instead of taking a taxi

Brussels Airport has a taxi rank, and for a short ride into the city it works. A pre-booked chauffeur adds certainty: the car and price are confirmed before you fly, your chauffeur is already waiting when you come through customs, and there is no meter running in the traffic on the ring road. For journeys out of Brussels, to Antwerp, Ghent or the Netherlands, a fixed price agreed at booking is usually the clearest and most comfortable option.

Vehicles

For business travellers and couples, we drive an E-Class or S-Class, or the electric EQS and BMW i7. Families and delegations of up to seven travel in a V-Class or EQV with plenty of luggage space. For larger groups we offer a Sprinter or coach.

Executives, diplomats and delegations

Brussels is a city of meetings. Our chauffeurs are screened, English-speaking and discreet, and our executive car service supports full days of appointments in the European quarter, NATO headquarters or Avenue Louise, with the same car and chauffeur from arrival to departure. For more local work, see our chauffeur service in Brussels.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the transfer from Brussels Airport to the city centre?

Brussels Airport in Zaventem is about 12 kilometres northeast of the centre. The drive usually takes 20 to 30 minutes, longer during rush hour on the Brussels ring and the E40.

Can I book a transfer from Brussels Airport to Amsterdam?

Yes. The drive is about 200 kilometres and takes around 2 hours 15 minutes to 2 hours 45 minutes via Antwerp. It is a popular choice when flights to Schiphol are full or more expensive.

Where will my chauffeur meet me?

In the arrivals hall after you collect your luggage and pass through customs, holding a name board. Brussels Airport has a single terminal building, so the meeting point is easy to find.

What happens if my flight is delayed?

We track your flight and adjust the pickup automatically. The first 60 minutes after landing are free waiting time, so passport queues or a slow baggage belt are covered.

Do you also serve Brussels South Charleroi Airport?

Yes. Charleroi is about 55 kilometres south of Brussels. We drive transfers from Charleroi to Brussels, the Netherlands and other destinations at a fixed price.
