SilverDrive's executive car service in Amsterdam is pre-booked ground transport in a premium car, typically a Mercedes-Benz E-Class or S-Class, driven by a screened, English-speaking chauffeur and priced as one fixed figure agreed before the journey. It runs 24/7 for airport runs, client meetings and full working days across the Netherlands and Europe.
You arrange it the way you arrange a flight: the car, the chauffeur and the price are settled before anyone gets in, so a transfer to Schiphol or a client meeting arrives at the time it promised. It is what companies book when a taxi is too unpredictable and a limousine is too much: quiet, unmarked, on time and accountable.
What is included in our executive car service
The price covers the car, the chauffeur and the planning that happens before you see either.
- A confirmed vehicle class, from our own fleet, stated on the booking.
- A screened, English-speaking chauffeur who reads the route, the timings and your notes the day before.
- One fixed price: no meter, no surge pricing, no hidden fees.
- Flight tracking on every airport pickup, with 60 minutes of waiting after touchdown included on arrivals.
- A company answerable for the whole arrangement, not an app form.
How it works, step by step
- Request: send the pickup, destination, date, time and number of passengers, plus a flight number for airport journeys.
- Quote: we confirm the vehicle and a single fixed price.
- Brief: the chauffeur plans the route, the buffer the time of day needs, and any extra stops, luggage or child seats you noted.
- Journey: the car is waiting before the pickup time. On arrivals it moves with your flight, not the timetable.
- Changes: if the meeting overruns, the chauffeur waits and reworks the rest of the day with you rather than cancelling.
Which car to book
The E-Class covers most executive transfers. Choose by passengers, distance and whether you will work on the way.
- Mercedes-Benz E-Class: routine transfers and airport runs for one or two passengers.
- Mercedes-Benz S-Class: the long wheelbase and rear-seat space for working in transit, longer drives, or an arrival that carries weight.
- BMW i7 or Mercedes-Benz EQS: fully electric equivalents for companies reporting travel emissions.
- Mercedes-Benz V-Class: three to seven passengers, or a team with luggage.
Where the executive car service operates
We are based in Amsterdam and cover the whole of the Netherlands: Schiphol, the Zuidas, and onward to The Hague, Utrecht, Rotterdam and Haarlem. Cross-border drives are routine, to Belgium, Germany, France, Luxembourg, Switzerland and the UK, with the same fixed-price model. For longer runs, see our city-to-city service.
Who it suits
Executive assistants and travel desks booking for senior staff, executives landing at Schiphol for a day of meetings, companies receiving clients or board members, and visiting delegations that need two or three cars moving together. Executive chauffeur hire, black car service and corporate car service are names for the same product, and the test is the same for each: if the fare is decided by a meter once you have arrived, you are buying a taxi with better upholstery.
Executive car service or a taxi?
For a spontaneous short hop across Amsterdam, a taxi or ride-hail is often the sensible choice, and cheaper. A solo traveller going city centre to city centre, Amsterdam to Brussels for instance, will usually find the train cheaper too. An executive car earns its price when the journey has consequences: a flight to make, a client to receive, a meeting that cannot start without you. That is where a confirmed car, a briefed chauffeur and a price that cannot move are worth paying for.
