VIP chauffeur service to Circuit Zandvoort

Luxury transfers to and from Zandvoort’s Formula 1 circuit mean one thing on an event day: getting through the bottleneck between Haarlem and the dunes without stress. SilverDrive drives guests from Amsterdam hotels, Schiphol and the Kennemerland villages to Circuit Zandvoort in a chauffeur-driven Mercedes, at a fixed price agreed at booking, and brings them back the moment the last session ends.

Zandvoort is a seaside village of around 17,000 people with one main road in and a railway line that ends at the beach. When an F1 crowd of more than 100,000 arrives over three days, that geography decides everything. A private chauffeur who knows the drop-off zones, the closures and the timing turns a long, crowded day into a comfortable one.

The Dutch Grand Prix after 2026

The 2026 Dutch Grand Prix was announced as the last Formula 1 race at Zandvoort, closing the chapter that started when F1 returned to the dunes in 2021. The circuit itself is not going anywhere. Circuit Zandvoort, with its banked Hugenholtz and Arie Luyendyk corners and fast sweeps through the dunes, still hosts historic racing weekends, national championships, club races, track days and private corporate events throughout the season.

For SilverDrive that means the same service continues: VIP transfers to Zandvoort for whatever is on the calendar, plus hotel and airport runs for guests who come for the beach, the dunes or a business event at one of the venues along the boulevard. Our Dutch readers can find the race weekend logistics in our article on Grand Prix Zandvoort vervoer.

Why choose SilverDrive for your circuit transfer

The original reasons guests booked us for Formula 1 weekends still hold for every event at the circuit.

  • Punctuality. Your chauffeur leaves early enough for the traffic that actually exists on an event morning, not the traffic on a quiet Tuesday.
  • Vehicles you choose in advance. Mercedes-Benz S-Class, Maybach, V-Class and electric EQS or EQV, all from our own fleet and confirmed at booking.
  • Professional, discreet chauffeurs. Screened, English-speaking and used to guests who want to talk business, take calls or simply rest after a long day trackside.
  • A fixed price. No meter running in a queue on the N200, and no surge pricing because 100,000 other people also want to go home.

How a Zandvoort event day works with a chauffeur

Morning: pickup and the drive in

We pick you up at your hotel in Amsterdam, your home in the Gooi, or at the arrivals hall at Schiphol with flight tracking included. The usual route runs via Haarlem and Bloemendaal into Zandvoort. On large event days the organisers and the municipality close parts of the village to general traffic, so your chauffeur takes you to the designated drop-off area or the entrance your hospitality package gives access to.

During the day: waiting or returning

You choose between two set-ups. With a waiting arrangement, the chauffeur stays nearby and is ready the moment you message, which is the smoothest option if you plan to leave early or move between venues. With a separate return booking, we agree a pickup time and meeting point in advance. For full days, hourly hire is often the simplest way to keep the same car and chauffeur with you.

Evening: getting out before the crowd

The hardest part of any big event in Zandvoort is leaving. Trains fill up, the road towards Haarlem slows to walking pace and taxis are scarce. A pre-arranged pickup point, agreed before the day, is what gets you back to Amsterdam for dinner instead of standing in a queue at Zandvoort aan Zee station.

On busy event days add a generous margin to these times, especially for the final stretch into the village. We plan departure times around the published traffic plan, not around a route planner.

VIP hospitality, networking and groups

Many of our circuit guests are not there just for the racing. Hospitality suites, client entertainment and team partner days are where deals get discussed, and arriving in an S-Class or Maybach fits the setting. For companies hosting several guests, we coordinate multiple cars on a single schedule or move the whole group in a V-Class, Sprinter or the Setra S 515 HDH coach. Our event transportation team handles staggered arrivals, a shared return time and a contact person on the day.

Beyond the circuit: explore Zandvoort and Kennemerland

Zandvoort is famous for its circuit, but the town has more to offer once the engines stop.

Zandvoort beach and the boulevard

Kilometres of wide sandy beach, beach clubs with sea views and a lively boulevard make Zandvoort a classic day out from Amsterdam. A chauffeur drops you at the beach club and picks you up at sunset.

Nationaal Park Zuid-Kennemerland

Directly behind the circuit lie the dunes of Nationaal Park Zuid-Kennemerland, with walking trails, viewpoints and wildlife including Scottish Highland cattle and wisents. It is the perfect quiet counterpoint to a loud day at the track. See our chauffeur service in Zandvoort for day trips along the coast.

How to book your private driver for Zandvoort

  1. Enter your details. Pickup and drop-off points, date, time and the number of passengers. Use the name exactly as it appears on your passport or company booking.
  2. Choose your vehicle. Match the car to your group and luggage: saloon for up to three, V-Class or EQV for up to seven, Sprinter or coach for larger groups.
  3. Review and confirm. You receive a confirmation email with all details, including the agreed fixed price.
  4. Pay securely. A payment link follows by email; once paid, your booking is confirmed and your chauffeur’s details are sent before the day.

It takes about three minutes at book now. For multi-day events, groups or hospitality programmes, ask for a tailored quote through our contact page.

Frequently asked questions

How long is the drive from Amsterdam to Circuit Zandvoort?

Around 30 kilometres and usually 35 to 45 minutes from central Amsterdam via Haarlem. From Schiphol it is roughly 25 to 35 minutes. On big event days the last few kilometres into Zandvoort take longer because of road closures and crowds, so we plan pickups with a wide margin.

Can a chauffeur drive me right up to the circuit on a race weekend?

That depends on the traffic plan the organisers and the municipality publish for each event. On the busiest weekends private cars cannot enter the village freely, so we use the official drop-off zones or the access your hospitality ticket allows. We confirm the exact drop-off and pickup point with you before the day.

Is 2026 really the last Formula 1 race at Zandvoort?

Yes. The organisers announced that the 2026 Dutch Grand Prix would be the final Formula 1 race at Zandvoort. The circuit keeps hosting historic racing, club events, track days and corporate days, and we continue to run transfers for all of them.

Which cars do you use for circuit transfers?

Our own Mercedes-Benz fleet: E-Class and S-Class saloons for up to three passengers, the Maybach S-Class for VIP guests, V-Class and EQV vans for up to seven, and Sprinters or the Setra coach for hospitality groups.

What does a Zandvoort transfer cost?

You get a fixed price agreed at booking, based on pickup point, vehicle and whether the chauffeur waits during the event. There is no meter, no surge pricing on race day and no surcharge for early or late runs.
