SilverDrive provides chauffeured ground transport for passengers flying through Jet Aviation Amsterdam, the FBO in the General Aviation Terminal at Schiphol. The car is cleared in advance, timed to the tail number and waiting at the FBO door, or planeside where the handler permits, at a fixed price agreed before the aircraft moves.
To be clear about roles: SilverDrive is an independent chauffeur company, not part of Jet Aviation. We work closely with Jet Aviation and Schiphol General Aviation, which handle private flights away from the passenger terminals. The point of flying privately is that the aircraft waits for you. The ground leg has to keep that promise, so the car is there when the steps come down and the luggage moves from hold to boot in one motion.
What is included in a Jet Aviation Amsterdam transfer
Every transfer covers the car, the chauffeur, the clearance work and the waiting, under one price agreed at booking.
- Advance clearance: the chauffeur and vehicle are registered with the FBO by name and registration before the day.
- Tail-number timing: we follow the aircraft and stay in contact with the handler, so the car moves with the flight rather than the filed plan.
- Luggage handled once: from the hold to the boot, with no trolley and no kerb.
- Discretion by default: unmarked cars, no name board unless you ask for one, and a chauffeur briefed before arrival.
- Continuity: the same chauffeur through a multi-day stay, available 24/7.
How an FBO transfer works, step by step
An FBO transfer is a different job from a terminal pickup. Timing runs from the tail number and the handler, not an airline flight number, and access is controlled tightly.
- Booking: you, your broker or your flight department send the tail number, the FBO, a passenger or handler contact and the destination.
- Confirmation: we confirm the vehicle, the chauffeur and a fixed price.
- Clearance: chauffeur and vehicle details go to the FBO for its procedures.
- Tracking: on the day we follow the aircraft and the handler's updates, and position the car accordingly.
- Arrival: the car meets the aircraft where airside access is granted, or stands directly outside the FBO door, metres from the apron.
- Departure: we deliver minutes before wheels-up, and the chauffeur stays until you are through the door, because private departures sometimes bounce back when a slot moves.

We work at Schiphol, where Jet Aviation has run its FBO in the General Aviation Terminal since 2018, and at Jet Aviation's FBO at Rotterdam The Hague Airport. From Rotterdam, the city centre is minutes away and Amsterdam roughly an hour by road. We also serve private aviation at Eindhoven, Brussels and Düsseldorf, and position cars to any European airport a routing requires, so a multi-leg trip can keep the same chauffeur at each stop.
Who books private jet transfers with us
Most bookings come from brokers, aircraft operators, flight departments and family offices, and some from passengers directly. Whoever books, the passenger sees one accountable operator. Flight departments that use us regularly simply send the tail number and consider the ground leg handled.
SilverDrive or the handler's own car arrangement?
An FBO can source a local car for you, and for a single short hop that is often fine. Booking SilverDrive directly makes sense when the details matter: a fixed price agreed before the flight, our own fleet, and the same chauffeur across a stay or a route rather than whoever is available. We provide the driving layer only. We do not offer close protection or armoured vehicles, and where you travel with a security team, we work alongside the one you appoint.
