Meet and greet

Meet and greet is the part of a chauffeur booking where a trained driver waits for you or your guests at the agreed point, airport arrivals, a hotel lobby, a congress centre, a cruise terminal or any other place, greets you personally with a name board, carries the luggage and escorts you to the car. For many people travelling is stressful; for diplomats, business leaders and other VIPs it is more demanding still, and a familiar face at the door changes the whole arrival.

Your SilverDrive chauffeur is at the meeting point before you are, holding a name sign so you can spot them immediately, or waiting discreetly without one if you prefer. Our chauffeurs are used to the requirements of VIP clients and offer discreet, friendly and efficient assistance, whether the guest is a diplomat, an executive or a celebrity. At airports the driver tracks the flight, so the welcome moves with an early or late landing, and arrivals include 60 minutes of free waiting.

Where we meet and greet

Airports. In the arrivals hall at Schiphol, Eindhoven, Rotterdam The Hague, Brussels and Düsseldorf, without you having to navigate the terminal, and at the Schiphol VIP Centre or Jet Aviation for private flights.

Hotels. Arrivals and departures coordinated with the hotel staff, so guests never wait in the lobby.

Events and congresses. Direct pickups at congress centres and event halls, with no parking or crowds to handle.

Seaports. Your chauffeur meets you in the cruise terminal and takes the luggage to the car.

Who books meet and greet

How pricing works

On airport transfers meet and greet is part of the fixed price, together with flight tracking and 60 minutes of waiting after touchdown. On hotel, venue and seaport pickups it is added to the transfer when you book, and the total is confirmed in writing before the day. There is no meter, no surge and no surcharge for a flight that lands late.

How to book

1. Send the flight number or pickup time, the meeting point and the name for the board.
2. Add a mobile number for the passenger and any preferences, such as a discreet pickup without a board.
3. We confirm the vehicle, the chauffeur and the fixed price.
4. On the day, the chauffeur is at the meeting point before the passenger arrives.

Meet and greet is included on every SilverDrive airport transfer and can be added to any other booking. Plans change while travelling, so the service adapts to a cancelled pickup or a new destination, and it runs around the clock for early flights and late arrivals.
