Mercedes-Benz EQS

The Mercedes-Benz EQS is built on a dedicated electric platform, with the longest official range figures in our electric group and a rear compartment aimed squarely at chauffeur use. What the passenger notices is silence of a different category: no engine note, no vibration at idle, no gearshift when the car pulls away. A phone call from the rear seat sounds like a call from a room, and a two-hour journey is measurably less tiring.

The complications sit on our side. Official range runs to around 600 kilometres; we plan on roughly seventy per cent of that for a winter motorway run, which still puts Düsseldorf, Brussels, Antwerp, Cologne and everything inside the Netherlands within a single charge. On Amsterdam to Frankfurt, Berlin or Paris a fifteen to twenty-five minute high-power charging stop is planned into the schedule at quoting stage, and the price is fixed at booking either way.

For corporate accounts with sustainability reporting we supply per-journey emissions data; ask for it when the account is set up. Electric cars also keep their access as European cities tighten low-emission and zero-emission zones.
