Banking hours, airport minutes: the banking district, FRA airport and Messe weeks with fixed prices and flight tracking.
Frankfurt runs on two clocks. The banking clock fills the towers of the financial district with meetings scheduled to the half hour; the airport clock turns one of Europe's largest hubs into the gateway through which most of those meetings' participants arrive and leave. A chauffeur service in Frankfurt exists to keep the two aligned.
The working geography is compact, which misleads visitors into underestimating the day: meetings in three towers still mean three arrivals and three security desks. Hourly hire is the arrangement that works, with one private driver holding the car nearby while you take calls. SilverDrive covers Frankfurt from Amsterdam: airport transfers at FRA, hourly hire in the city, Messe weeks and the long road journey from the Netherlands when the road is the right tool.
