Jumping Amsterdam is an international dressage and show-jumping competition at FEI World Cup level, held at the RAI Amsterdam from 28 to 31 January 2027. A SilverDrive chauffeur makes attending it effortless: door-to-door transfers in a Mercedes, a fixed price agreed in advance, and a driver who waits nearby and stays on call for the whole evening or day.
Jumping Amsterdam is one of the set pieces of the European indoor equestrian season. It brings FEI World Cup dressage and show-jumping together under one roof at the RAI Amsterdam, the city’s landmark exhibition centre in Amsterdam-Zuid. The 2027 edition runs from 28 to 31 January – four days of top-level sport in the heart of the city, staged indoors and out of the winter weather.
The show returns to the RAI each January, so whether you are reading this ahead of the 2027 dates or planning a future winter visit, the essentials hold: world-class horses and riders, a close and atmospheric indoor arena, and an elegant crowd. Only the dates on the calendar change from one year to the next.
Few sports pair athletic drama with this much poise. At World Cup level the finest horse-and-rider combinations compete only metres from the stands, and the atmosphere inside a full indoor arena is close, warm and genuinely electric. The audience reflects the sport: riders’ families and teams, sponsors, corporate guests and lifelong enthusiasts, many of whom treat the occasion much as they would a night at the Concertgebouw or a gala dinner.
It is the kind of evening where arriving unhurried, and in the right car, sets the tone for everything that follows. Jumping Amsterdam sits comfortably among the fixtures on the Dutch luxury events calendar, and for followers of the sport it pairs naturally with CHIO Rotterdam in the warmer months.
SilverDrive was founded in Amsterdam by Joshua Faerber, and the RAI is close to our home base. That makes Jumping Amsterdam one of the simplest evenings out we run. We are not a broker and we do not use the student-in-their-own-car model; every journey is driven by our own vetted, English-speaking and discreet chauffeurs, in our own fleet.
January in Amsterdam is cold, often wet and occasionally icy. A chauffeur removes the friction from all of it. You step from your home, hotel or office straight into a warm car and step out again at the entrance to the hall – no long walk from a distant car park, no de-icing, no waiting on a kerb for a taxi that may not come.
Every SilverDrive journey is quoted as a fixed price, agreed before you travel. There is no meter running in traffic and no invoice to reconcile afterwards. You know the cost of your transfer, or of a chauffeur for the full evening, before the car arrives.
Book a private chauffeur in Amsterdam for the session and your driver stays close by throughout the competition. When you are ready to leave – after the final class, or the moment the cold sets in – the car is at the door within minutes. You go home on your schedule, not the taxi rank’s, and with the discretion our regular clients expect.
The fleet is Mercedes-led, with fully electric options, so the car suits the occasion and the size of your party:
For companies hosting clients at the show, our corporate transport service coordinates arrivals and departures for a whole guest list, so everyone reaches the door together and leaves without a scramble. SilverDrive also runs a dedicated service for the secure transport of high-value items, should you need something precious moved with care on the same day.
The RAI Amsterdam sits in Amsterdam-Zuid, beside the A10 ring road and a short, direct drive from both the city centre and Schiphol. Public parking around the venue is limited during a major show and fills early; a chauffeur sidesteps the problem entirely by setting you down and collecting you at the entrance.
For guests flying in, we run transfers from Schiphol around the clock, including the Schiphol VIP Centre and Jet Aviation for those arriving by private jet, and we track flights in real time so the chauffeur is already waiting when you land. The RAI hosts a full calendar beyond the show, too – we provide the same door-to-door service for PAN Amsterdam at the RAI, the art and antiques fair, among many other events across the year.
The RAI is in Amsterdam-Zuid, close to the A10 ring road and a short drive from the city centre and Schiphol. Public parking around the venue is limited during a major show and can be costly. With a SilverDrive chauffeur there is nothing to arrange: your driver sets you down at the entrance and collects you from the same place, so you never search for a space or walk far in the January cold.
Yes. Many guests book a chauffeur for the full session: the arrival, the wait during the competition and the journey home. Your driver stays on call nearby throughout, so you leave precisely when you are ready rather than when a taxi happens to appear. The price for the day is agreed in advance.
Every SilverDrive journey is a fixed price, agreed before you travel. There is no meter and no bill afterwards, so you know the cost of a single transfer or a full evening out before the car arrives. Share your pick-up point, party size and timing and we confirm the price.
Yes. We run transfers from Schiphol at any hour, including the Schiphol VIP Centre and Jet Aviation for private aviation guests, and we track flights in real time so your chauffeur is waiting when you land. The RAI is a short, direct drive from the airport.
Solo guests and couples usually travel in a Mercedes E-Class, S-Class or Mercedes-Maybach S-Class, with the fully electric BMW i7 and Mercedes EQS also available. Groups of up to seven take the Mercedes V-Class (or the electric EQV for up to five), up to sixteen the Mercedes Sprinter, and larger parties the 56-seat Setra coach.
